What effects it has on earth and its inhabitants? And what are some possible solutions? Introduction: Attention Getter: Has anyone here heard of the butterfly effect? Well, it is the concept that small causes have large effects. For example, the notion of a butterfly fluttering in Rio de Janeiro could change the weather in Chicago. In this speech I will be talking about what global warming actually is. What causes it? What effects it has on earth and its inhabitants and what are some possible solutions?
